Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup yogurt
- 4 teaspoons ground cumin, divided
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 (8 ounces) can of tomato sauce
- 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 4 long skewers
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 clove of garlic, minced

Methods
Step 1: Stir yogurt, cumin, cinnamon, lemon juice, ginger, black pepper, and salt in a bowl. Add chicken and cover it to refrigerate for one hour.
Step 2: Get your grill preheated for high heat.
Step 3: Oil the grill grate. Skewer the chicken and discard the marinade. Grill on both sides until juices run clear, about 5 minutes on each side.
Step 4: Heat up a large heavy skillet. Add the garlic and jalapeño to the frying pan and sauté them over medium heat for 1 minute. Add in the cumin, paprika, and salt, and stir in the tomato sauce and cream. Simmer until it’s thick, about twenty minutes.
Step 5: Add grilled chicken to the soup, and simmer for ten minutes. Transfer the soup to a serving platter, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
